The reason one goes to the Tucson Gem Show is to see things that one never sees. In the collection of Greg Genovese I found this fabulous pair of chalcedonies. They happen to be a rare and prized chalcedony know as Coyomito agate. It all boils down to the most lace-like lavender gem you will ever see. These asymmetrical drop create a two inch-long earring. Did I say that I used amethysts to complement the chalcedonies? Pastels are the height of fashion, and nature has met us more than halfway. I just did the matchmaking!
