Somehow I always like to have this signature design in color in the studio. This setting creates the best balance between gem and ring with a classic three-stone combination with a color in the center flanked by diamonds. Each time I give it a little tweak here or there to give it its own personality. This time it’s a fabulous dominant blue tanzanite in a pear shape. My favorite shape for a finger ring has always been a pear since it’s so graceful. This 2.24ct tanzanite is the most difficult to find. The small diamonds are a perfect contrast to the intense color of the larger tanzanite. The setting is my wedge design, this time in 18K white gold with 18K yellow gold accents. It’s conservative, contemporary and exclusive.
