This year I focused on setting a number of cabochon gems from my collection. One of the highlights of this collection is this deep purplish-blue tanzanite. I chose a very classic three-stone design that I’ve always felt featured the gems. The white gold hand-fabricated band appears to flow onto the stone and hold it in petal-like prongs. The split band has yellow gold fingers that clasp the sides of the bezel-set diamonds. This very simple and elegant ring is the perfect addition to any tanzanite collection.
