Sugalite and Opal, I would have never predicated this incredible match up. I was immediately fascinated by the gem cutter leaving the black matrix around the vibrantly-purple Sugilite. I have seen mineral specimen groups with this coloring, but never in a cabochon. The sparkling faceted Amethysts continue the purple theme capped by luminescent green Cat’s-Eye Opals. Oh! I almost forgot to talk about the Brazilian Cat’s Eye Opals. It is incredible to have found a matching pair. (I always like to have people guess what they are.) The shepherd’s loop makes them wearable day or night, and the colors work for all seasons. Wait until you see them on.
