We all love turquoise in a pendant because it’s such an American fashion thing like jazz is to music. Here we have a beautiful large gem. I cut this stone from some rough that I have had for 30 years at least! I wanted the shape of the stone as well as the silver work in the pendant to be nontraditional. The origin of the turquoise is Nevada. I especially like the chocolate-colored matrix lines. The yellowish green is often called “Sadie Green”.
