With the marquise, it’s always about the shape.  In this case, the large faceted Rutilated Quartz has copper-colored needles that catch the light.  The long graceful shape of the marquise, encased in gold, has a satin-finished, rounded wide sterling silver band.  The feeling is definitely Danish modern with more than a nod to Georg Jensen.  You will find that you will be wearing this every day.
