Rutilated Quartz is always a favorite fashion stone in our book.  This piece with its golden stone on silver just looks right, resulting in a long and graceful-looking pendant with clean lines.  Is it contemporary? Yes!  This gem pendant is part of a series in sterling silver that I am doing. The stone was difficult to photograph and is much more distinctive in person.
